Pacem, a thatch roof self-catering cottage in Voëlklip, Hermanus has a magnificent view on the mountain as well as sea views. Pacem is situated in a quiet area of this popular seaside holiday resort.
The cottage is on the slopes of the mountain very close to the Fernkloof Nature Reserve with its abundance of fynbos, the major vegetation type of the small botanical region known as the Cape Floral Kingdom. Fynbos, or "fine bush" refers to the fine needle-like leaves of many fynbos species. The Blue Flag status Grotto Beach is about a 10-minute leisurely walk.
The main attraction of the cottage is the spacious open plan living area upstairs with its thatch roof which opens on a sunny stoep. From there you have the beautiful view on the mountain. The living room also features a dining area and kitchen. The built-in barbeque ensures a cosy get-together even during the stormy winter weather. Two large en suite bedrooms are on the ground floor.
The cottage is fully equipped.
Corrie Smit is your hostess. Needless to say, as the cottage is regarded as a single unit, guests have the cottage for themselves.

- Do your whale watching during the season from the kilometres-long cliff path or walk amongst the splendour of the fynbos on the mountain trails. Join the mountain trails after a 5-minute walk from the front door. A walk to the beach takes less than 10 minutes.
