Each comfortably luxurious bedroom has the option of twin or king-sized beds and has a TV, mini fridge, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Heaters are installed and fans are provided as necessary, and there is underfloor heating and heated towel rails in all bathrooms.
One en suite luxury bedroom, patio, lounge and dining area of FrancolinHof are wheelchair accessible.
Bordering Fernkloof Nature Reserve, you can step straight onto mountain walks for the energetic – and not so energetic ! Birds (including Francolins), proteas, other fynbos and sunsets are a joy to watch from your patio or balcony.
The Hermanus Golf Course and the centre of Hermanus is approx a 5 minute drive away. Two other major attractions of Hermanus - the Cliff Path and the soft white sand of the Blue Flag Grotto beach are just a 10 minute walk downhill from FrancolinHof. The Cliff Path is a prime whale watching site, walking path and location to enjoy sundowners.
FrancolinHof is also ideally situated to reach other places of interest in the Overberg and Western Cape.
Fax and internet/wifi facilities are available. Braai/barbecue facilities are available for use by our guests and a variety of picnic/sundowner/braai baskets are available on request.
Breakfast includes healthy and hearty options with homemade and local produce. We consult a dietitian for special dietary requirements on request. Picnic and sundowner baskets are available with advance warning.
Other nearby activity options include mountain biking - the trail passes behind FrancolinHof - horseriding, boating or sea kayaking. Helicopter rides as well as boat-based whale watching can be arranged for you. The Hemel-en-Aarde wine valley with its wine farms and restaurants are about 12kms away.
