La Fontaine is a deluxe 4 star rated guest retreat perfect for a rejuvenating break, golf vacation, romantic getaway or whale viewing holiday in southern Africa.
La Fontaine is not a hotel; it is a home away from home with a warm ambience that offers gracious living and all the comforts conducive to a serene, restorative getaway.
Our five en-suite bedrooms are all individually decorated and vary in size and rates. We offer a spectacular breakfast menu, which can be enjoyed on the patio as you take in the panoramic views across the bay.
During summer, relax by the pool or stroll along the cliff path and in winter, enjoy world famous wines from this region in front of the crackling fireplace in our cosy lounge.
We’re only a short walk to the quaint village centre with bustling galleries, shops and restaurants. We offer all the services and comforts you may need, including satellite television, hairdryers, heated towel rails, tea trays and more.
From Cape Town on the N2 come in to the centre of town. There will be a Pick-‘n-Pay supermarket on the left and a Shell Garage on the right. Turn right at the garage and follow the road towards the sea – it’s a very short distance to the stop sign. At the stop sign turn right again. 300m on your right is La Fontaine Guesthouse.
ROOM 1:
Luxury sea facing suite – large double/ twin bedded room, small lounge area, dressing room, full bathroom and private balcony.
Rate: R 850 per person per night sharing i.e. R 1700 per night
ROOM 2&3:
Family unit – One double/twin room and one twin bedded room sharing an en-suite bathroom with shower. Suitable for a family with two children, or elderly people.
Rate: R 625 per person per night sharing
Children until 12 yrs.: R 250 per child per night
ROOM 4:
Mountain facing double/twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom and private balcony.
Rate: R 625 per person per night sharing i.e. R 1250 per night
ROOM 5:
Spacious double/twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom and private patio.
Rate: R 625 per person per night sharing i.e. R 1250 per night
ROOM 6:
Sea facing double room with en-suite bathroom and private balcony.
Rate: R 750 per person per night sharing i.e. R 1500 per night
